California awaits an energy boost
Schneider Electric has partnered with Navigant Research to look into upgrading California’s energy infrastructure through EaaS solutions. Schneider Electric is a large corporation that specializes in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and it has many patents to support its goals. In fact, its most recently issued patent in the Energy Financial Settlement sector is directed to managing an electrical distribution system in a facility, which will be important in this partnership. The company’s VP said that “California’s critical facilities and municipalities need to be evaluating microgrids as part of their overall energy strategy,” and with Navigant Research‘s market research data, Schneider Electric is expected to help the state make important energy infrastructure decisions.
