Enphase Energy has agreed to supplier relations with SunRun

Enphase, a California-based microinverter manufacturer, has agreed to supply to SunRun, a residential solar panel enterprise. Their keystone product is the IQ 7 or IQ 7+ microinverter, which integrates smart software architecture and semiconductor functionality. The unique photovoltaic converting apparatus boasts a guaranteed lifespan of 25 years and tested operation under extreme weather. According to the California Energy Commission, its 7X model has a highest-ranking efficiency level of 97.5%. This newest-generation technology has bolstered $234 million in revenue in the first half of this year.

This begets a very auspicious venture on the part of Enphase, due to SunRun’s notoriety as one of the more successful players in the solar power industry. With an estimated $1.4 billion in funding, their model of allowing customers to pay monthly for their power, not their solar panels or installation, has shown to be extremely promising. This consumer-focused flexibility, alongside an exploding renewable energy market has led their shares to nearly triple in value in the past year.
