McAfee’s support for Microsoft continues to grow
McAfee recently launched its MVISION Cloud for Microsoft Teams, a unified communications platform for workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and more. The cloud-native approach of the security solution enables IT teams to enforce data loss prevention policies and collaboration controls, to address threats from insiders and compromised accounts, to audit all user activity, and to secure corporate data as users collaborate in the cloud. McAfee and Microsoft, both top patent holders in the AI Cybersecurity sector, have been actively collaborating with other entities, such as Samsung and Australia. There has been a recent surge in critical cyber attacks, and the companies’ patent portfolios clearly reflect this unfortunate trend, with numerous applications and issued patents focusing on detecting anomalies/threats.
