Google: Of Many Faces
Google’s latest issued patent in the AI Cybersecurity sector focuses on hands free transactions using a facial profile.
The system associates a facial template with an individual user, where the facial template describes the key features of a user’s face. These features include shape, color, line, value, space, form, and texture. Once processed through a neural network, the facial template may be used by point-of-sale (POS) devices to identify users and authorize a transaction.
This is Google’s third patent in the AI Cybersecurity sector relating to facial recognition for processing transactions.
