The U.K. military is planning to deploy fleets of drones, possibly from BAE Systems

BAE Systems, headquartered in the UK, is developing a digital light processing (DLP) guidance system for drones and other air-borne devices. It uses a DLP mirror array at a laser source to track the location of the drone.
The U.K. Ministry of Defense is planning to operate a fleet of unmanned aircraft able to fly networked together as a swarm. BAE Systems‘ Taranis, a proof-of-concept for UCAV (unmanned combat aerial vehicle) technology, could serve as the basis for future designs for this application.
