Microsoft’s new blockchain partner

Icertis, a company that provides contract management software to enterprise businesses, has partnered with Microsoft to expand its Icertis Blockchain Framework. Microsoft‘s Azure Blockchain Workbench will help the platform bring greater transparency, execution speed, and compliance to its users, which already include Mercedes-Benz. Microsoft‘s patents in the Cryptocurrency sector, although sparse, are mostly recent and are highly concentrated in blockchain analytics. This indicates that it recently acknowledged the technology’s potential, much like the other big tech companies. Perhaps its collaboration with Icertis will lead to increased patent activity.
