Sleep Number remains committed to increasing their patent portfolio, with a new patent issued on October 15th for an inflatable air mattress system that detects movement and another patent issued on October 22nd for a bed with a logic controller. Sleep Number has focused primary in the Devices category of the Consumer Sleep Technology sector. Sleep Number faces competition in the sector from Tempur Sealy. However, despite the growing focus on technology in the smart bed sector, Tempur Sealy only has 1 document in the Consumer Sleep Technology Sector.
