Equity Shift Blockchains Tokenized Securities to Meet Regs

Equity Shift is creating a blockchain platform for offering and purchasing tokenized securities, where the platform meets current and future federal, state, and offering and holding entity rules and regulations.

Users perform transactions using cryptocurrencies tied to a uniquely identified account, cryptocurrency account, or digital wallet. In some instances, restrictions are set to prevent the tokenized securities offering entity functioning as a token marketplace during the offering period. This creates visibility for SEC compliance, as tokenized securities purchased during the tokenized securities offering are tradeable on secondary markets, usually after a rest period.

Equity Shift is a relatively small player in the space, with 2 patent applications in the Cryptocurrency sector, both categorized under the “Finance” sub-category.
