Quantum Machines Fast-Tracks first patent
Quantum Machines, a startup developing the next generation of control and operation systems for quantum computers, raised $5.5 million in seed financing in November 2017, filed a Track 1 (Priority Examination) patent application in January 2019 and received a patent in October 2019. Quantum Machines is playing catch-up, but this performance shows that there is still room for start-ups.
